Kenneth Rotich led a 1-2-3 Kenyan sweep in the men’s race at the GO! St. Louis Half-Marathon, Sat., April 11, in St. Louis, Mo.
Rotich, who’s 33, ran 1:03:46 to finish two seconds up on his countryman Julius Koskei, also 33.
Geoffrey Kenisi, 28, was third in 1:05:50.
Koskei, a veteran runner who has won many road races in the U.S., is the world record holder in the Double 15K. He set the record in Pleasanton, Calif., Dec. 22, 2013 by running the 10K in 29:45 and the 5K in 14:38 for an aggregate time of 44:24.
