It was a beautiful day to race in Pacific Grove (Monterey) CA on Feb 10.  The day started off with the 1k kids race followed by the 10k/5k which started together.   Nate Sans won the 10k in 32:33.  Pictured is Yi Mao from Marina, Ca.  Yi is 52-years-old and ran 38:33.  Thirty years ago he ran a 1:49 800 meters.  At the time he was ranked fourth in all of China.  He is only running twenty miles a mile.  With more training he could be one of the top runners nationally in his age group.  Photo by Catherine Cross  (More photos in the Ujena Fit Club photo gallery.)
