| Fitness Statement | I wanted to run to better my fitness for soccer in the fall. Eventually I fell in love with the sport and it was hard not to. Our high school program was very successful, great group of guys and girls, and great coaches in Bruce White and Gustavo Ibarra. These coaches and program were definitely a big influence to jumpstart my urge to run. Since I love to push my physical and psychological boundaries, and I always strive to improve my times as other runners do. There is absolutely no better feeling than walking away from a race or workout knowing that you have made progress and that you can continue to do so with incremental adjustments in training. |
