I purchased a pair of vibram 5 toe shoes yesterday to try for running. i'm following what the company recommends to acclimate myself to these shoes.

i did the treadmill at 15% incline 3.5 mph for a mile
then i went to 3.5% incline at 3.5mph for a 1 1/2 miles

then i did 1/4 mile at 6.5mph twice

This was the first time I was able to do this without getting shin splints
So i am going to keep moving forward and if this improves from here it will be wonderful

run Let us know how your 5 toe shoes work out. I don't think they would work for me...Good luck!!!
