| Fitness Statement | Advocate for youth fitness in Kansas City. In charge of kids pacing group for Hospital Hill 5K race in 2012 & 2013. Included as part of Hospital Hill's VIP staff and shadowed race director. Performed mutliple interviews with various local TV news stations on youth fitness. Kids motivational speaker most recently speaking at Blue Cross Blue Shields to youth about training to complete a 5K and the benefits of running for youth. Gavin has completed numerous 5K road and trail races and ran for the Brocaw Blazers youth cross country team since the age of 9. Gavin has completed 3 half marathons, his favorite was the Donald Duck half marathon at Walt Disney World. |
