10 mile run in NYC, down 1st Avenue, over 14th St to Ave B, down through East Village, Lower East Side, Chinatown, and then back up Allen St, over Broome St, up through Lower East Side and East Village again and all the way back up to the Upper East Side.
I am so jealous!! I may be a total Cali girl but I truly heart New York. Good for you Todd!I did a long training run in New York City on Boston Marathon Monday. I am in the final buildup for my upcoming Hudson River Run 2012, wherein I will be running the entire 315-mile length of New York's Hudson River over an eight day span.

That's 40 miles per day for eight days. Wow, good luck with your venture and for a good cause too! Keep us posted. Be sure to take a minute each day and give us an update...
Yes Bob, I will be averaging about 40 per day, with the daily schedule as:
Day 1 - 29 miles
Day 2 - 30 miles
Day 3 - 47 miles
Day 4 - 43 miles
Day 4 - 44 miles
Day 4 - 46 miles
Day 4 - 46 miles
Day 4 - 33 miles
The first day involves some mountainous hiking, and the second day will include a lot of miles that are also "off road." The rest is all road. I finish in New York City on May 19th. I can't wait to start, and I will do my best to provide updates. :)
I botched the 'Day' citations in that last post due to copy and pasting. Day 5 is 44 miles, then Days 6

Just wanted to drop a note to the club to say that I completed ny full-length run of New York's Hudson River at 5:00pm ET yesterday, May 20th.
The run comprised 318 miles in all, spanning 9 consecutive days and averaging over 35 miles/day. The beneficiary of my efforts is Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, a Hudson River advocacy organization founded by folk legend Pete Seeger in 1966. For more on this event and info about how to donate to Clearwater, please visit us on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/pages/Hudson-River-Run-2012/206616579427914.
Thanks everyone, and special thanks you Bob for your words of support. ~Todd
Great accomplishment, Todd
Wow Todd that is so amazing! Congratulations on completing this incredible journey and for an awesome cause. You're a rockstar!!!
Congratulations on a truly an incredible accomplishment! I will never complain again about running a 3 mile recovery run after a marathon. lol
A memory making journey indeed. Most people never come close to accomplishing something of that magnitude ! Years from now I'd like to sit around the old campfire and have you tell the whole experience in detail.
congrats, Todd. Seems like they need a new "fit log" category for that sort of event/accomplishment. Just maybe, they should let you spread that one out of the next ... three months? :)
Congrats on a great adventure...
Welcome Todd to the UjENA FIT Club. Be sure to post your 2011 races when you get a chance. Good to have you with us...
Thanks Richard and Lacey.
Roger - yes, I would have RELISHED a mere 3-mile run, on days 7, 8 and 9, especially.
Bill - I plan to write the story by the end of the year, so stay tuned. Gary - yeah, I just ran two months worth of miles in 9 days.
Bob - thanks, again. It was a lot of fun. :).
