Just wanted to drop a note to the club to say that I completed ny full-length run of New York's Hudson River at 5:00pm ET yesterday, May 20th.
The run comprised 318 miles in all, spanning 9 consecutive days and averaging over 35 miles/day. The beneficiary of my efforts is Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, a Hudson River advocacy organization founded by folk legend Pete Seeger in 1966. Roger - yes, I would have RELISHED a mere 3-mile run, on days 7, 8 and 9, especially.
Bill - I plan to write the story by the end of the year, so stay tuned. Gary - yeah, I just ran two months worth of miles in 9 days.
