Our Plano Pacers Turkey Run Off 5K, 15K and Kids K will be held November 29 at 8AM at Bob Woodruff Park. The Kids K should start about 10:00AM due to the time needed to complete the 15K. The current forecast calls for temperatures in the mid forties and dry. There should be some great results.
Guest pre-registration is open on our planopacers.org website home page. Pre-registration saves time for runners and volunteers on race day. Guests can pick up bibs and pay their $10 race fee BEFORE 7:30AM in the registration area. New members can pick up their bibs prior to the race in the membership area. Members that have a bib, please remember to bring it.
This year we are going to modify the 15K course to keep it completely on the trail. Please be ready to listen to the pre-race instructions. Hopefully eliminating running on the streets will provide a better experience.
Please plan on staying for the awards ceremony. We have prepared medals and trophies which will be worth the effort to attain. There should be plenty of competition with friends and family in town for the holidays.
Let’s get ready for a great run! Many runners will run a Turkey Trot Thursday, have a feast and need some more miles on Saturday!!
