Race to Robie Creek
Was visiting my good friends, Ron and Jim Barker, who ran and helped found the race in 1975, with Ron having been the only person to have run every race since its inception, in Boise, ID.The race sold out in 12 minutes back in July and I couldn't get a number, so I ran it as a bandit just for the experience.

Notes: I ran the first 5 miles of this race with my good friend and legendary marathoner Jim Barker, still going strong at 65 years young. Despite the 2,000 ft of elevation gain over the first 8.6 miles and the precipitous downhill after reaching the summit, I felt great after this race.
