Complete Race Listing

Nice Fast net down hill course thru residential neighborhoods and Parks/bike paths with lots of slight down hills from mile 15 to 22. From Mile 22 -23 (1/2 mile 2% grade 170 feet gain) and from mile 23 to finish all down hill. Finish on track next to ocean. Beautiful course. A net down hill fast course. I'd do it again. A good Boston Qualifier in my opinion.

Notes: 4th Full Marathon:

I had set a pace for a 3:08 finish up to mile 18 but started hamstring cramps in right leg from mile 15 to finish. I had pain in right foot at shoelaces from mile 15 on due to the chip which was hard 3 inch square tied to shoe laces but I refused to stop to re-tie it. I believe hamstring cramps due to injury before race and low mileage weeks for last 3 months due to vacation and injuries, I felt I could finish 3:08 with adequate mileage next time.

run "Thanks Bob. My calf feels better and then my hamstring started to act up because I tried too hard to run faster on my recovery run after a 14 mile run last Saturday so I took this week off. I'm hoping to finish without more injuries. I'll do my best to win. I'll post my results. "
