Spencer C Duncan 5K
The race will start near the U.S. Army Reserve hangar under our great American flag. The route will run north for a short distance and turn back south on New Century Blvd. The route will then turn back north again near CenturyLink, run past the Naval Park and back to the finish line and that amazing flag. This is a fast, flat course with a special memorial along the way honoring the 31 Americans killed on 8/6/2011.

Notes: Very well run event, fast flat course, low 70s and humid this morning, not too awful! My nemesis/buddy Don Turner passed me with 1/2 mile to go to win our age group by 6 seconds.
