| Fitness Statement | Every other day I run 2.5 miles of a 3 mile workout using the Couch to 5K program. On the weekends I have one day to do a run event. I use a bodybugg armband to monitor calorie daily burns and adjust my diet or exercise at the end of the day dependant on the numbers. In the last year I have lost 60 lbs, and I plan to lose another 60 in the coming year. My goal is to be healthy, fit, and to be a role model to my patients (I am a nursing student). |

| Running Achievements | I started running on 9.22.12. I completed my first 5k that day and the next week I did a 10k. The week after that I did a 5k and my first half marathon. I've since done 12ks, double 5ks, the double road race, and have started trail runs. 6 months ago I couldn't run a mile, now I'm doing 10ks and half marathons. To me that is a huge achievement :) |
