Comments | This is a great program! Please keep encouraging everyone to get fit and stay fit. |
Fitness Statement | I have become disabled, but am still able to run/walk up to 4 miles using a walker. I am going through a rehab program and am using a stationary bike and adding time and miles every week. I have progressed from being confined to a wheelchair to using a walker and a few steps without any assistive devices. |

Just keeping up my rehab. 1 hour on the stationary bike for 8 miles and 1 hour walking with my walker for 2.2 miles.
Such a pretty day I took it easy and didn't stick to my rehab plan. Instead I took a 3 mile walk using my walker.
Tough week of rehab. But the extra hour to hour and a half is really making a difference. Other activities wore me out so was a little slower on the stationary bike. I rode it for 2.5 hours and was only able to go 12.6 miles. Hopefully I do better tomorrow. My therapist said I might be able to stop using the walker and progress to a cane as my next step of recovery.
3 Mile walk with my walker, it took me an hour and 7 miles on the stationary bike with another hour. Making good progress on the spinal cord rehab. Hope to be able to do part of my walk wiothout the walker soon and maybe move to a real bike!
Rehab on my legs after spinal cord injury. Stationary bike 2.5 hours for a total distance of 14.3 miles
30 minute on the thereputic weight bands, 45 minutes walking with my walker for 3 miles, 1 hour on the stationary bike for 5.6 miles. It was a tough day with both energy and time, but feel better for getting at least this much accomplished.
Rode the statioary bike for 1.5 hours for a total of 15 miles and went on an extended walk using my walker for another 1.5 hours and 5 miles for a total of 20 miles, I aqm going to beat the spinal cord injury
