John Hofacre's Race Listing

Ran 9 miles in preparation for the Portland OR half marathon on October 6.

I ran with the Mid Pacific Road Runners Club on a 4 mile loop through Ala Moana Beach Park for their Friday Night Fireworks Run. After... there was a pot luck, beach chairs and watching fireworks, provided by Hilto Hawaiian Village.

At 8 am, I joined the Lululemon Running Group (Waikiki) for a 4.5 mile run through Kapi’olani Park and along the Ala Wai Canal

While on vacation... I ran 4 miles with the Honolulu Marathon Clinic. They meet most Sundays in a park near Waikiki.

6 miles along Monterey Bay.

5 miles running errands around town.

7 miles to get ready for the 'Run in the Forest' in Pebble Beach

7 miles with some hills

7 miles getting ready for the "Run in the Forest" this Saturday.

4 mile run getting ready for the "Run in the Forest 5k" Pebble Beach in Oct.

Bob... I didn't know I had a World Best Double time! I attribute it to proudly running in the red UjJENA Fit Elite Racing Team singlet. Couldn't have done it without you! And, Yes... the Running Joke Cartoon Books can be at the Pleasanton Double Road Race. You sure are good about following up on people. I hope lots of runners sign up for the last double of the season in Pleasanton.

Thank you for posting the pictures from the San Jose Double. We're all looking good! Those HUGE "Top Age Group Placer" medals are awesome! I got one at San Jose and will be at the Pleasanton Double (looking for another). Best wished to all those running the San Juan Bautista Double.

I attended a Sunday 'training' run (and recommend them) that inspired me to do my first Double Road Race (San Jose). I normally run 5k's. Thanks for all the encouragement. Did better than I would have thought. Took 2nd in my age group and you gave me a REALLY BIG metal! Enjoyed the enriching (no I didn't win money!) experience.

Ran the MOOnlight 5k in Davis CA on July 13th. Actually it was my first 'evening' race (and it was still DARN HOT)! Was lucky to wilt into 1st in the 60-64 group (in a slow 23:24) but good enough to win one of their way cool 'glow-in-the-dark' medals.
