Dave Rhody and crew pulled off another good Thanksgiving weekend race. This year was only a 5k and he moved the course down by the Golden Gate Bridge. It was a good course. Not the fastest with some gravel but beautiful. Sports Basement was the host and wow they did a great job. 1,112 people finished. Chikara Omine (bib 1665) won it in 16:25 followed closely by teamate Jason Lee (bib 1770) in 16:26. Third was Alexander Mason (bib 32) in 16:30. Ashley Relf (bib 1836) was first female followed by Ujena Fit Club member Verity Breen (bib 3176) in 18:52. Third was Julie Sawyer (bib 480) in 19:06. First Men's Master was Kevin McGinnis (bib 1766) in 17:57 followed by Peter Vicencio (bib 1656) in 18:15. Third master was Paul Zager (bib 1671) in 19:15. Verity was first female master followed by Patti Shore (bib 1762) in 19:31 and Suzy Kisylia (bib 409) in 20:15. This was 64-year-old Bob Anderson's 44th race of the year.
