Notes: Our team all worked for same agencey and less than a week prior to the event we were all affected by the government shutdown. The day prior to the event we were told we would start working on Monday (race on Sunday). Although we were happy to get to go back to work, two team members had to go into work Sunday to set up so after the first two team members ran leg 1 and leg 2, there were only four of us to run the other 10 legs totaling over 60 miles. We only had two goals, 1) to finish and, 2) not to come in last. We finished 2nd to last!
