This is not a race photo but we liked it so much we had to publish it big.  When Bob Anderson and "A Long Run" film crew were in Eugene Oregon Sept 28-30 for The Ten Miler race they went over to Hayward Field where the recent Olympic Trials were held.  Outside the stadium is this tribute to Pre.  "It gave me chills," says Bob.  The 10 Miler was Bob's 37 race of the year.  He finished 38th overall in 69:19.  He wanted to get under 7 minute pace and he did it.  Great race.   Mark your calendar for next year.  Photo by Catherine Cross
