The 102nd 2013 Bay to Breakers saw thousands of people May 19  run through the streets and wind through Golden Gate Park to finish at the Ocean. US runner Ryan Hall ran his first Bay to Breakers and did well.  He finished second with a time of 35:40 for the 12k course.  Tolossa Gedefa Fufi from Ethiopia finished first in 35:01 and Tesfaye Sendeku Alemayehu also from Ethiopia was third in 36:04.  Diane Nukuri-Johnson from Burundi won the women's race in 40:12 followed by Adrienne Herzog from the Netherlands (40:42) and Chelsea Reilly from the US finished third in 40:56.
